We believe that everyone has a duty of care towards children and young people with whom they have contact, to safeguard and protect them and other vulnerable people from abuse.

Everybody, whether administrator, official coach or bowler involved in working with children, young people and vulnerable adults in any capacity, has a responsibility to be informed about, and to know what precautions or steps to take for its prevention.

Northamptonshire Bowls Youth Development Scheme has agreed to adopt the policy and guidelines of the National Governing Bodies.

Northamptonshire Bowls Youth Development Scheme will appoint a Safeguarding Officer annually at the Annual General Meeting.

All policies ,procedures and templates are available to view and download at : These documents will be updated to reflect any changes in legislation
