County President 2025/26 Paul Lucas

Northamptonshire Indoor Bowling Association County President

I am relatively new to the bowls, having only taken up bowling post covid, but have got to know many bowlers who have shared their experiences about how the game was, in the day, and certainly before covid.   Whilst we cannot turn back the clock and change is inevitable, from my perspective the Northamptonshire Men’s County bowls scene is in good shape and thriving. The young stars are supported by an enthusiastic manager and team.  The county and seniors team selection and competition success has been driven by experience and bold leadership which inevitably makes follow on years more challenging.  In addition, continuous development of our sport and the clubs within the county is the key focus of the executive committee.  My hope is to play my part in helping to shape, move and change the sport we love within our County. Happy Bowling
